When you sign up to Trojan AON, we install a charge point on your street, outside your property. It’s part of our wider on-street network, but it’s placed specifically for your convenience.

No installation costs
We work in partnership with your local council to organise planning permission and fully fund the installation of charge points. That means no hefty upfront payments from you.

Pay your home energy rate – across our network
Your subscription connects you to your home electricity tariff, so you’ll pay the lowest energy cost whenever you charge at this charge point, and any other charger in our network!

Seamless billing with plug and play
Just connect your adaptor – charging starts automatically. No screens, cards or codes. Usage is tracked, payments are automatic, and everything is transparent.
Trojan AON Costs
We install a charge point directly outside your home, connected to your own electricity supply – giving you the most convenient access to on-street charging.
The charger is part of our public Trojan Energy network, meaning other Trojan customers can use it too.

What to expect during the sign up process:
Step 1
Complete the form at the top of this page.
We collect some basic details before you begin the sign up process.
Step 2
Verify your email and create an account.
We'll send you an email with a link to verify your email address and create an account to start the sign up process.
Step 3
Add payment details.
Connect your card and pay the first month's fee of £50. This will be reimbursed if the installation doesn't go ahead. It can be reduced to £25 if you submit the property survey yourself.
Step 4
Perform a brief property survey with a smartphone.
This helps us understand if your home is suitable for AON. If you don't have a phone or don't want to, we can organise for an engineer to carry this out.
Step 5
Sync your energy tariff.
This allows us to seamlessly reimburse you when the charger is shared. You'll need your energy supplier account login details.
Step 6
Select your preferences.
You can vary the times of day/night that charging starts to benefit from off-peak rates.
Step 7
We'll be in touch!
It usually takes about 8 weeks for installation from the time of submission.
How does charge point sharing work?
With Trojan Energy’s shared charging network, you get smarter, more affordable charging, without compromise.
As an AON host, you gain access to all Trojan Energy charge points, charged at your home tariff. That means if the charge point outside your home is in use, you can simply connect to another one nearby. We install multiple charge points in each area to make sure there’s always flexibility.
In return, the charge point outside your home becomes part of the shared network, available for other Trojan Energy users when it’s free. You’ll stay fully informed as the app shows when it’s in use, and any energy used by others is automatically reimbursed, so there’s no cost to you.
By sharing, we can offer you a home-connected charge point at a more affordable rate, while giving you more freedom in how and where you charge.
